Denise was educated locally and completed her further education at Plymouth University and the Exeter Business School.
She joined Symes Robinson & Lee in November 2007, having previously worked for another well established Exeter-based firm, specialising in Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence claims. Since joining SR&L, Denise has maintained her interest in a wide variety of Personal Injury cases, including Slips & Trips, Accidents at work, Road Traffic Accidents and Claims involving Children, helping to secure compensation for injured parties either on a "no win, no fee" basis or by utilising Legal Expenses Insurance.
Denise has also assisted in the growth of the firm's Debt Recovery department and has developed a reputation for being particularly efficient and effective in collection of debts. She represents private clients and assists them to secure judgment against debtors as quickly as possible with advice then on appropriate enforcement measures. Denise is able to work on a "no recovery, no fee" basis up to the point of issuing Court proceedings.
When not working Denise enjoys cycling, kayaking, watching films and spending time at her home in Ottery St Mary with her husband and three cats.
