Personal Injury & Accident Claims Explained

Had an accident or suffered an Injury? We can help you receive the compensation that you deserve

Accidents happen – they are a fact of life. Then why is it that only 14% of victims make a claim for compensation for their suffering or loss following Road Traffic Accidents, trips and falls, accidents at work or through professional negligence? You can claim compensation for the actual injury sustained and the pain and suffering caused, you can also make a claim for any financial losses including loss of earnings, medical expenses and cost of care etc.

If you would like to consider making a claim for compensation please click here to submit your details and one of our specialist advisors will contact you shortly. Alternatively, to speak with an advisor please telephone 01392 270867 to discuss your claim

The main reasons why victims do not make a claim are as follows:

Unsure whether a claim can be made and what to do next
We will discuss the details of your accident with you to assess your claim and in some cases it may be necessary to meet with you personally in order to establish all of the facts. This initial consultation is free of charge. We will guide you through the entire process.

Concerned about how much it will all cost you
Personal Injury claims can be funded in many ways, including on a No Win No Fee basis. If your case is unsuccessful for whatever reason you will not have to pay a penny. In addition, you will not be asked to pay for anything at all throughout the duration of the case and if you are successful we guarantee you 100% of your compensation. There is therefore nothing for you to pay at any stage of the claim.

Who will pay for the compensation – can the other party afford it?
Most situations are covered by insurance

Worried about going to Court
Around 99% of cases are settled out of Court

How long do I have to make a claim after the accident?
There is normally a period of three years from the date of the accident to bring a claim for compensation. (or by the age of 21 if the victim is a minor) There are exceptions to this time limit and we will be happy to advise on your individual proposed claim.

How do I fund my claim?
There are several ways in which your claim can be funded including a No Win - No Fee arrangement and means that we will not charge you if you do not win your case. If you win, we will guarantee you 100% of your claim.

How much am I likely to receive in compensation?
We will discuss with you your individual circumstances such as how the accident has affected you both in duration and recovery. The value of your claim is assessed by reference to guidelines and previous similar cases
